I first came to Charleston in 1998 as a freshman at the College of Charleston. Needless to say, I had great time attending the College and after graduation knew I had to get back here because I missed the lifestyle terribly. I traveled quite a bit and worked for the family business for a few years in Winston-Salem, NC. Then I met my husband Hayden through mutual friend. He is a big time foodie and history buff so I knew he would love visiting Charleston. He was hooked after the first trip.
Hayden is a real estate investor who focuses on student rentals and it wasn't long before he bought his first property in downtown Charleston. Shortly after getting married in 2005, we moved into one of our vacant rental properties here on Daniel Island. We've now been married almost five years and don't have any children, so we get to take advantage of most everything Charleston offers. Hayden has settled into real estate sales and property management and I am a Realtor here on Daniel Island. As far as the lifestyle goes, Charleston sells itself, so I think our jobs are easy!
