I just read that the Charleston Farmer's Market in Marion Square is opening up for the season again this Saturday (and every Saturday through December 19) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.! Besides offering a wide variety of local produce and artisan shops, it is the perfect place to stop in for breakfast or lunch on Saturday while strolling around downtown and it looks like they are going to have some new food vendors this year including:
The Messy Apron - hot and cold soups
BJ's Brats - locally made brats and sausage
Meat House - charcuterie products
Better come hungry!
